The Relet seems kinda like a technology looking for an application, particularly given that the SmartDisplayer screen is already in a few credit cards in the wild.
I'd be amazed if SmartDisplayer wasn't also to turn up in RFID/NFC travel cards like Suica and Pasmo within a couple of years.

This one's from Visa, working with DeviceFidelity in the US. Whether or not it really hits the street remains to be seen.
The previous such RFID case we saw was erased from history one night in January and remains a mystery no one is willing to talk about.

Apparently, case and charger maker Mophie is working on an external solution that will somehow tie in with an app for charging the balance on the card, although there's no indication yet of how that will work.
